The Bolsena Ricama association organizes for the year 2025 the 14th edition of the International Competition “Embroidery and Lace between Art and Tradition … Cornucopia between art and mythology”.

The Competition is open to all schools and/or associations whose primary purpose is the conservation and promotion of activities related to embroidery and lace.

Individuals, professionals, dilettantes and amateurs of the sector in general may also participate.

Cornucopia comes from the latin cornu and copia, it’s the abundance horn and it’s usually represented like a large horn overflown with flowers, fruits, vegetables or golden coins.

The Jury will meet in June 2025 in the offices of the Association or other place to be agreed with the Municipal Administration. 

Below are the Call for entries and the identification card that you will need to send with your work. 

To participate please send 35 euro for each piece of artwork to IBAN IT69T0885173260000000070462 registered to Associazione Bolsena Ricama, reason Concorso Biennale 2025 ‘La Cornucopia’. 

The winners of the competition will be announced on this website and on our facebook group.
